Well if you are in the mood to spend the whole day sitting at home in pyjamas, bing-watching your favorite sitcoms or movies and hogging on some great food. During such times, food-delivery can be a great option. But it must be quite costly or at times either a place doesn’t deliver in your locality.

On the way back to home, from college or work, it seems pretty convenient to pack and carry food from certain joints. It later seems as a perfect relaxation, with no hassle to cook. Here’s a list of 5 such best take-away joints in Jaipur, to keep you quenched!

“Talk of the town” is famously known as “TOTT” which is a casual style eating joint. This place is a paradise for non-veg lovers. It is mainly popular among the Jaipurites for its famous for its non-vegetarian delicacies. All my friends are die hard chicken lovers and believe me it is equally great for vegetarian foodies, if you don't have a problem with non-vegetarian outlets. Their tandoori items are the reason this place is literally the talk of the town. From their murg tikkas, kabab rolls, chicken gol mirch to even the vegetarian items like tandoori aloo, everything here is super appetizing. The chutney that is served along with all tandoori items is the best thing here. But my favourite is the Tandoori aaloo! It is a must try.

With five outlets at M.I Road, Raja Park, Mansarovar, Malviya Nagar and Vaishali, this place is one of the best take-away joint in Jaipur.

TOTT offers the facility of home delivery up to a range of 8 KM for a minimum order of Rs. 500 and take away food facilities are available here. What’s more the average price for two at this budget eatery is a decent Rs. 100 to Rs. 250. This place is always crowded so the best way to get the order is by home delivery at a reasonable price.

This one and only take away outlet in Jaipur by Chhabra's do not offer dine in facility at this location. Located at Big Benn, Swej Farm, Sodala, “CHHABRA’S PURE VEG” delivers its orders in less than 15 mins during rush hours as well. They offer chairs to sit by the time your order gets ready. What I like is you can roam around in Palika Bazaar or Big Bazzar instead of waiting. There is also a statue circle famous coffee kiosk, where u can grab some good coffee.

Talking about food, you will not get disappointed by your order. I ordered paneer butter masala which was quite delicious. Also the quantity was also good according to the price. Their delivery was very accurate. A very good place with pocket friendly menu!

Chhabra’s triumphs in the vegetarian take-away joints with 2 outlets in Malviya Nagar and one each in Raja Park and Shyam Nagar. The lip smacking vegetarian dishes including Kadhai Paneer, Malai Kofta and Dal Makhani from this place are sworn upon. Definitely their food is too good to be taken home and enjoyed in solitude. You can also enjoy some discounts here on your food order!

Located at M.I. Road, according to me it is one of the best restaurants in Jaipur that serves the best chicken kebabs. There are three shops situated next to each other which have chicken kebabs as their specialty. All three shops are called “Old Take Away” however that one shop to visit for best chicken dishes is Shop No 146. It is much crowded as compared to other two shops. When I visited this shop, I thought that it would be a ‘takeaway only’ shop (as the name suggests), but there is an eating section out the back. In addition to kebabs, they also prepare chicken and mutton biryani, rolls, shawarma and tikkas.

If you’re after the best chicken kebabs in Jaipur, then head towards the Old Take-Away on MI Road for some lip-smacking Indian kebabs. Don’t expect much else, as you will be sitting on makes shift tables and chairs in the middle of nowhere chowing down on some of the best tandoor dishes this place has to offer. Once the food arrives, you will forget where you are, as the smell and taste of the kebabs will take over your senses.

We asked a few locals and they pointed us to a shop on Subhash Corner, MI Road. There are three Jaipur restaurants situated next to each in this section, and their specialty is chicken kebabs. So when we got to the shops, we stood there wondering which one was the best. One shop clearly had more locals at it. A couple of guys on a bike told us to try the kebabs from the middle shop as they made the best chicken kebabs in Jaipur.

We imagined this to be a They had converted an old car repair yard into a dining area for customers. There was already a big table of Western tourists eating there as well as a couple of smaller tables with local people.

So, we sat down at one of the makeshift tables and foldable chairs and ordered our dinner tandoori chicken and hariyali chicken kebab (green chicken kebab) with rumali roti.

This is a ‘no frills’ eating place as we didn’t come here for the decor or the atmosphere. We came here for good, lip-smacking food! I would be wrong to say that this place doesn’t have atmosphere because it does. It’s a different kind of atmosphere – reminiscent of old India with small shops in the back alleyways. Sitting in the middle of a big car repair yard having dinner is not an experience that comes along often and it wasn’t too bad. Low prices here do not compromise with the quality and quantity served.

Here tandoori chicken is served with sliced onions, lime and a coriander-mint sauce. While Hariyali chicken kebabs are green in colour because they are marinated in a green paste made up of spinach, coriander and green chilies. Other must try dishes are Murg Hara Dhaniya, Seekh Kebab and Chicken Tikka.

Located near Nirman Nagar, Shyam Nagar, Jaipur, “Uncle Soni Take Away” will remind you of the tasty food your grandmother used to cook. I have visited this place so many times and it has never disappointed me when it comes to the taste, quality and in addition to it courtesy. Moreover Uncle Soni customizes the dishes as per the eating habits of the customer which in my experience very few hotels do. In addition to the food being prepared fresh and in front of you, the ingredient used is of high quality.

The owner of this place, Uncle Soni is very passionate and jovial person who ensures the food is cooked as per your taste. All in all, the experience at this place will be a delight for you.

“Dabboo’s” is just the perfect place for those who are looking for small snacking options on weekends.  This small take-away cum delivery place serves the best options for a few quick bites. The garlic salami from here is something to die for.

I ordered food for my family from Daboo's and I must say that their butter chicken was just amazing!
With super-fast service, I got some discounts as well. Their butter naan and stuffed kulchas were average but it might have happened because of the delivery

I definitely recommend everyone to visit daboo's at least for once. It is located at Tilak Nagar, Raja Park, and Jaipur. From hygiene to the taste, people here take care of almost everything.

I hope this blog would prove to be helpful for you!
