3. FLAMES: #PadhaiAurPyaar-
This web-series is the story of a young romance unfolding as a chemical reaction. ‘FLAMES’ is the story of a teenage romance (call it Pehla Nasha) from The Timeliners that blooms in one chemistry class and which aims straight from the heart. Ritvik Sahore and Tanya Maniktala are in the lead roles of this romantic web series. FLAMES is highly recommended when you want to watch something light and relaxing.
Gone are the days where a male lead was important to carry the success of either movies or serials. Amazon Prime Video’s romantic comedy-drama has come up with its first original comedy from India and its first new TV show of 2019. The name of the series is “Four More Shots Please” which has Bani J, Kirti Kulhari, Maanvi Gagroo, and Sayani Gupta in the lead roles. The series follows the lives of four “urban, imperfect, modern Indian women and their perfect, life-affirming, friendship”.
The series is produced by Pritish Nandy and created by his daughter Rangita Pritish Nandy (Pyaar Ke Side Effects. Damini (Sayani Gupta) is an independent journalist who prefers masturbation to sex because it's efficient. Anjana (Kirti Kulhari) is a single mother who shares a roller-coaster relationship with her ex-husband, Varun Khanna (Neil Bhoopalam). Umang (Bani) and Siddhi (Maanvi Gagroo) is a virgin who hates her mother Sneha (Simone Singh, from Kal Ho Naa Ho) for how she treats her. There's a ton of passion in every episode and these 4 women are just amazing to watch and have their lives unravel. I can't wait for a season 2 if the producers plan to make one.
