Forget Eggs, Make Paneer Bhurji with These Easy Steps

It is said that cooking is an art. If done properly any dish can blow your mind with just one bite. You must have eaten egg bhurji but have you tried Paneer Bhurji? If no, then I have got a super simple paneer bhurji recipe that’ll make you forget all about eggs. Follow the steps properly and enjoy your dish sitting at home with your other family members!

INGREDIENTS-

 

1.5 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp coriander seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 green Chilli

1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 large or 2 small tomatoes, finely chopped
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp Red chilli powder

2 pinch turmeric powder
Salt to taste
150 gms fresh paneer 
1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves

 

STEPS TO FOLLOW-

 

 

Step 1:

 

Crush the coriander and cumin seeds in a bowl. Now sauté the crushed seeds in hot oil for few seconds.

 

 

Step 2:

 

Add chopped green chilli and onions and let them cook about 2-3 minutes on a low-medium flame. Saute until they turn golden brown.

 

Step 3:

 

It’s time to cook tomatoes in the mixture for 3-4 mins. Now pour the other ingredients like garam masala, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt, mix well and cook till the masalas are not raw anymore. You can add 1 tbsp of water in this mixture.

 

 

Step 4:

 

Time to bring the main hero of the dish i.e ‘Paneer’. Smash the paneer into fine pieces and put it into the saute masala. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Do not cook paneer for too long or else it’ll get chewier.

 

 

Step 5:

 

Turn off the heat and season the dish. You can also garnish it with fresh chopped coriander leaves.

 

Serve the delicious Paneer Bhurji with bun, chutney and salad!
