Fine Dine Restaurant- Meraaki Kitchen

Jaipur is witnessing a boom in the café industry during the span of the last years. Most of the new cafes offer similar menu at a similar price. In my opinion, most of the new cafe’s fail miserably on food. Ultimately, it’s the food and overall experience that really counts. This is one reason why I have become extremely selective in choosing a new cafe or food joint.

By venturing into “Meraaki Kitchen” owners Shivika Kothari and Neha Deepak Shah wants to create a space that is above and beyond ordinary and deliver a true everlasting experience for its patrons. Meraaki Kitchen is Shivika’s first business venture post her graduation. She has been awarded as the Young Female Entrepreneur of the year, Jaipur by Business Insider and Future Leader Award by Coutts Bank London. Her culinary inspiration comes from travelling to new places regularly and exploring different dining experiences.

On the other side, Neha Deepak Shah started cooking at the age of seven. Her culinary passion further evolved when she had the position of first runner up on Master Chef India Season 4. It also shows on the food and choice of dishes this café offers!

Located at Civil Lines, this restaurant serves vegetarian fusion food and includes Thai, Burmese and Lebanese, Indian cuisine and therefore Merraki Kitchen Jaipur’s Menu lists many unique preparations.

Many regular sounding items are prepared and served with a twist here. Pizza is served with a twist and thus named Naaniza. Dahi Papadi weds Wasabi to become Wasabi Dahi Papadi and Sev Puri gets Mexican with Sev Puri Tacos!

Last weekend I chose to visit Meraaki Kitchen for dinner with my family. As we walked in, both the owners came to us to check up on everything including if the food is served or not.

Meraaki Kitchen offers everything that a foodie needs! This place is serving delicious vegetarian food. The service and ambiance was just perfect. A lot of thought and effort has gone into the interiors. And it shows!

Very interesting art installations adorning the walls makes the place look quite contemporary.

We ordered the appetizers which were recommended by the owners such as Pav Bhaaji Fondue, KhaoSuey and Burmese Khao Suey.

We ended up ordering this great looking dessert – Melting Chocolate Ball served with hot caramel sauce. It tasted heavenly! I’m more than sure that chocoholics will find it hard to resist!

The lovely outdoor seating of the restaurant is a great place to chill and enjoy food with your with long lost friends during the perfect weather.

I was delighted with the overall experience at Meraaki Kitchen.
